William White Dingle, 69, Vero Beach

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, William White Dingle, better known as “Bill”, departed his earthly life at the age of 69 years. He was born in Darby, Pa., on Nov. 24, 1950, to Charles and Jean Dingle.

Bill received a Bachelor of Marketing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. After graduating from college in the early 1970s, Bill moved to Miami to become a buyer for Sears, Roebuck & Company.

He came to Vero Beach in the mid 1970s to work retail stores on Ocean Drive with his in-laws. Before retiring, Bill also taught business classes in St. Lucie County, became Education Director for the Humane Society, worked for the County Sheriff’s Office, and became a Security Officer at the Indian River Mall.

Bill was an avid golfer. He loved to walk, and he passionately frequented antique stores. He was a loving and loyal companion, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be missed by many, including his two furry friends, Chandler and Neeko.

William is survived by Sandra Dingle, his wife of 10 years; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jerry Dixon, of Sebastian; two step-sons, Chris Fausett and Todd (Caroline) Fausett of Kiln, Miss.; and brother, Fred (Kathy) Dingle, of Newark, Del.

Jennifer and Jerry blessed Bill with three grandchildren, Madison (13), Jared (10), and Jacob (2). Todd and Caroline added five step-grandchildren, Sebastian (18), Alexandra (17), Megan (11), Vincent (10), and Kristian (8). All the grandchildren brought Bill great joy.

Preceding him in death were Bill’s parents and his first wife, Peggy.

At the request of the family, no service is planned at this time. However, memorial gifts in William Dingle’s name may be sent to Indian River Animal Advocates, 1624 14th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960.

 

D. Diane Mullins, 65, Vero Beach

D. Diane Mullins, 65, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 5, 2020. Born Feb. 20, 1955, in Roanoke, Va., she was a daughter of the late Forrest Ayers and Elsie Sants Ayers.

Diane attended the Sebastian River Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her three sons, William Dempsey Stone III, John Lee Mullins and David Allen Mullins; her sisters, Yvonne Collins (husband, Bob), and Sunny Sturgill; four grandchildren, Skyler Mullins, Grace Mullins, Jacob Mullins and John Lee Mullins, Jr.; and many other loving family and friends.

A private memorial is to be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, Diane’s family ask you to make a charitable donation in her name to a charity of your choice.

Warren Howard Rich, Jr., 75, Vero Beach

Warren Howard Rich, Jr., 75, of Vero Beach, passed away March 3, 2020, at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1944, in Camden, N.J., to the late Warren Howard Rich, Sr. and Edna Williamson Rich.

Mr. Rich enjoyed his many years of work as a Maintenance Supervisor at the Camden County Parks Division.

Warren was a member of St. John of the Cross, Vero Beach and a member of Legion Mary.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Joan; and sisters, Janet McKinney and Jessie Wirtz.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at St. John of the Cross, 7550 26th Street, Vero Beach.
