The next owner of the large three-bedroom townhouse in Pointe West’s Central Village will have several options available – make it a seasonal home to escape the weather up north, make it a permanent home and enjoy all that Pointe West and Vero Beach have to offer, or use it as a rental investment.
That last option is what the previous owners went with – renting the unit to a tenant who took excellent care of the 1,750-square-foot, two-story townhouse.
“The place looks amazing,” said Berkshire Hathaway Home Services listing agent Chip Landers.
The end unit has more light and more space than most other homes in the community.
There are three bedrooms, all of which are on the second floor, and a den on the first floor that could be used as guest quarters as needed.
“It’s the second lowest price in Pointe West,” Landers said, noting that the lowest priced property is also a townhouse and much smaller without all the upgrades Par Court’s townhouse has.
“These are good plans,” Landers said.
The laundry room and two full bathrooms are located upstairs, while a third full bath is on the main floor.
The kitchen leads out to the two-car garage – not common but quite convenient when lugging bags of groceries in from the car.
“It really lives like a home,” Landers said.
Being in Pointe West, there’s natural gas hook-ups. The dryer runs on gas, as does the range in the kitchen and the HVAC heating system.
The ground floor is wide open, with the living and dining areas leading to the open kitchen. The kitchen has granite counter tops – not standard – and a bar top for extra entertaining options. A glass slider opens from the living room to the patio, which can be screened if the owner so desires.
The staircase is the only place still carpeted and goes to the second floor, which is laminate. Just off the stairs is a full bath and two guest bedrooms. The hall bath is over-sized and features two sinks, along with a shower/tub, and plenty of space for any bath storage solutions. The laundry room features over-the-appliances cupboards for storage.
The master suite is generous and has an attractive tray ceiling. Its walk-in closet is so large that it’s almost its own room. The en suite has two sinks and glass shower.
Pointe West is known as a golfing community but membership is optional. Becoming a member grants residents the use of the putting green and chipping course, both of which are a short walk from the townhouse. The community is also very active – with a full social calendar. Social memberships, like golf, are optional.
Without any membership, the residents of the Par Court townhouse can take advantage of the heated community pool, Landers said.
“We’re still a very good value here,” Landers said, compared to the South Florida market.
Pointe West is located west of town but still close to shops and dining along the State Road 60 corridor. It’s a short drive to the I-95, where drivers can head north to Melbourne or south to West Palm for “big city” amenities.
Landers will host an open house Sunday, March 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
