Deputies arrested Jesus Ricardo Godinez, of the 100 block of North Cypress Street, on two counts of sale and delivery of cocaine, along with possession of cocaine. Godinez was one of two suspects who deputies said sold drugs out of his home.

Wednesday, deputies detained Luis Alberto Boyso Valenzuela, 32, after they searched Godinez’ residence and found nearly 60 grams of cocaine along with drug paraphernalia, reports show. Godinez was not home at the time.

Deputies arrested Valenzuela on charges of sale of cocaine and two counts of possession of cocaine. Godinez and Valenzuela both were being held on detainers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Both men remained held Monday at the county jail; Godinez on $70,000 bond and Valenzuela on $17,000 bond, reports show.

The undercover probe began Feb. 12 when deputies set up a drug deal between Godinez and the confidential informant. Surveillance footage captured the informant buying several bags of narcotics from Godinez on two occasions at Godinez’ home, reports show.
