Deputies arrested Luis Alberto Boyso Valenzuela, 32, on charges of sale of cocaine and two counts of possession of cocaine. Valenzuela was held Sunday at the Indian River County Jail on $17,000 bond.

Valenzuela – whose address was not immediately available – was also being held on a deportation detainer for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, records show. Deputies were still searching for the second suspect, Jesus Godinez, 27, of the 100 block of Cypress Street, Fellsmere.

Godinez is wanted for sale and delivery of cocaine, officials said.

On Feb. 16, the Indian River County sheriff’s special investigations unit conducted a narcotics probe. The agency worked with U.S. Border Patrol along with the Drug Enforcement Administration and learned of two suspected drug dealers, Valenzuela and Godinez.

Deputies determined the pair were selling narcotics out of a Fellsmere residence, reports show. On Wednesday, law enforcement officers searched the home and found cocaine, scales, baggies and mixing chemicals, officials said.

Deputies arrested Valenzuela and took him to the county jail. Deputies continue to search for Godinez.
