Beverly Carolyn Fallon, 83, Sebastian

Beverly Carolyn Fallon, 83, passed away peacefully Feb. 20, 2020 at the Sebastian River Medical Center. Beverly was born in Torrington, Ct., on June 27, 1936.

Her younger years were spent in Bantam and Litchfield, Ct., prior to retiring to Florida in 1998.

After graduating from the Litchfield High School in 1954, she worked for many years at the Torrington Special Products Company. She enjoyed her family and friends, her cats, her bird, sewing and computer games over the years. Beverly enjoyed being a member of the American Legion, Eagles and Oriels.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Fallon; daughter, Rebecca Ivy (husband, Curtis), of Amarillo, Texas; son, Mark Ruggles (wife, Karen), of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Sharon Bills (husband, Tod), of Winchester, N.H.; son, Todd Ruggles (wife, Valrie), of Amarillo, Texas; step-daughter, Barbara Bruns (husband, Lee), of Grant, Fla.; step-son, James Fallon (wife, Yanbin), of Lonsdale, Minn.; brother, Robert Brown (wife, Pat), of Burlington, Ct.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beverly is preceded by both her parents, Hugh and Margaret Brown; brother, Hugh; sister, Claire; and stepson, David.

On March 7, starting at Noon, there will be a Celebration of Life at the American Legion Post 189, 807 Louisiana Ave., Sebastian. A dish to pass is appreciated but not required to attend.

For all who would like to send angel messages via balloons, we will do that at 3 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Strunk Funeral Home, 1623 North Central Ave., Sebastian.

 

Pablo Molina, 82, Sebastian

Pablo Molina, 82, of Sebastian, passed away quietly and peacefully at his home on Feb. 19, 2020.

Mr. Molina was a long-time resident of Southbridge, Mass., before retiring to Florida in 2004. He worked for Galileo-Electro Optics (Mosaic Fabrications) for nearly 40 years, first as a machinist, then as a manager. He was a very active member of Saint Mary’s Church in Southbridge, Mass., then of Saint Luke’s Church in Sebastian.

He was a member of and served as president of the Santo Nombre de Jesus of Saint Mary’s Church, an original organizer of an Explorers (Boy Scouts) group for Latino Youth in Southbridge, and an original organizer of the San Juan Bautista Festival for Saint Mary’s parish.

Mr. Molina was a Little League coach in Southbridge for many years, dedicated to providing safe and wholesome activities for youth. He also served as the Grand Knight for Chapter 199, DeTriana Council of the Knights of Columbus in Southbridge. Mr. Molina was quite civic-minded, believing that active involvement was the path to community-building for all residents.

He served on The Southbridge Planning Board for 10 years, and was a member of the Barefoot Bay Fishing and Boating Club. Mr. Molina was a semi-professional baseball player in his youth and continued being an avid sports fan throughout his life. He also loved fishing and gardening, both with dear friends in Biddeford, Maine, and in the Barefoot Bay, Fla., community, but his greatest love was spending time with his family and friends. He is greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his three dear sisters in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Tomasita Molina, Pachi Bermúdez, and Nelly Guzmán. He was the loving father of 6 children, Pablo and Maria (DiTucci) Molina of Florida, José and Nancy (Rothman) Molina of Maryland, Pamela Molina of Southbridge, MA, Sonia Molina of Northampton, MA, Rick Molina of Florida, and Cliff and Juanita (Pérez) Molina of Southbridge, MA. Mr. Molina was also the beloved grandfather of Will and Laura Meyer (Fuentes) of Virginia, José Molina of Yangon, Myanmar, Elizabeth Molina of Boston, MA, CJ Molina of Waltham, MA, Kaylin Molina of Southbridge, MA, and Angelí and Navaya Molina of Northampton, MA. He had three great grandsons. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews, godchildren, and many wonderful friends.

Mr. Molina was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Irene Molina.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on April 4, 2020 at Saint Luke Catholic Church, 5055 Micco Road, Micco, with Father Robert Mitchell, celebrant followed by a Graveside service at 1 p.m. in Sebastian Municipal Cemetery, Sebastian.
