Debra Mae Andolino, 63, Sebastian

Debra Mae Andolino, 63, of Sebastian, passed away peacefully Feb. 2, 2020, at Sebastian River Medical Center, with her loving family and friends by her side.

She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, #1767, Sebastian.

Survivors include her daughter, Adele Andolino, of Boston, Mass.; mother, Adele Miller, of Titusville, Fla.; long-time friend, Mikki Langmaid, of Sebastian.

She was preceded in death by husband, Franks S. Andolino, who died in 2015.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

A Celebration of Debra’s Life will be held 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, at Strunk Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mikki Langmaid of United Church of Sebastian, officiating.

Robert Joseph Gardiner, 77, Vero Beach

Robert “Bob” Joseph Gardiner, 77, of Vero Beach, passed away Feb. 19, 2020, at VNA Hospice.
Mr. Gardiner served in the United States Army.

Bob was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and Vero Beach Jaycees and volunteered at the St. Helen Harvest Festival.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; son, Robert; daughter, Sarah; grandson, Trey; and great-grandson, Landyn.

The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, with a memorial service following at 3 p.m. at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 1655 27th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Helen Catholic Church, 2000 20th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960 or American Cancer Society, 3375 20th St. Suite 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

 

Mary Kathleen Pimm, 76, Vero Beach

Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Pimm (nee DeForrest), 76, of Vero Beach, died peacefully on Feb. 19, 2020. Her daughter was by her side.

Kathy was born on April 24, 1943, in Auburn, N.Y., to Albert and Mary (Gaynor) Pimm.

She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1961. She married Richard P. DeForrest in 1964.

After moving several times over the years, she settled down in Cincinnati, Ohio, and began working for Duke Energy.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Keith) Dean, of Vero Beach; her son, Richard J. DeForrest, of Acworth Ga.; her brother, John Pimm, of Buffalo, N.Y.; her granddaughters, Lauren (Chris) Bota, Marlena Lindsley, Elizabeth (Mike) Clayton; and seven great-grandchildren, all of Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and former husband, all of Auburn, N.Y.

Kathy requested to have her ashes scattered around her home town of Auburn, N.Y., which will take place at a future date.
