Healthy Start Coalition, Riverside Theatre strengthen partnership ahead of DWVS 2020

On May 9, 2020, 10 of Vero Beach’s most influential stars will grace the stage at Riverside Theatre, twirling and tapping their toes at the 12th Annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars. This showstopping event is the premier fundraiser for the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition.

Each year, the show is filled with glitz, glamour, and Broadway style production. This production would not be possible without the incredible Riverside Theatre and their talented staff. Healthy Start and Riverside Theatre are proud to reinforce their partnership again in the 2020 season, working together to produce an even bigger and better event in 2020.

The team at Riverside Theatre began working with Healthy Start the second the curtain closed at the 2019 event to begin preparations for 2020 DWVS. Providing the professional production management as well as ticket sales are just some of the ways Riverside Theatre supports this event.

The Meet & Greet Party, sponsored by Studio Gabriel Salon & Spa, was held in the Waxlax Theatre at Riverside Theatre, and in April 2020 the annual Line-Up Party will be held at Riverside Theatre as well.

Each Star Dancer will be raising funds through sponsorships, silent auction and ticket sales from November through May 9, toward their fundraising goal that supports education and care to promote the health of moms, babies and their families in Indian River County. Sponsorships are now available by contacting a star dancer.

Those wishing to be part of Dancing with Vero’s Stars may purchase early tickets beginning Dec. 2, by contacting one of the star dancers and after Feb. 5, through Riverside Theatre Box Office.

Tickets range from $125 to $225 and include a Hollywood-style red carpet pre-event soiree and the dancing competition. This event is an early sell-out so interested parties are encouraged to visit dancingwithverostars.com or to connect with a Star and purchase early tickets.

The 12th Annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars volunteer committee is led by co-chairs and previous Mirror Ball Award winners Karen Franke, and Lisa Thompson Barnes. Other committee members include Nicki Maslin, Tiffany Corr, Ron Toperzer, Amanda Robinson, Adam Chrzan, Ben Earman, Chloe Rose and Megan McFall. They work together with Riverside Theatre staff Jon Moses, Annamarie Labella, and Kyle Atkins.

Indian River Healthy Start Coalition is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which was founded in Vero Beach in 1993.
