The Military Moms Prayer Group’s annual “Holidays for Heroes” drive is underway to ship packages to U.S. troops in the war zones and at sea. Since 2006, more than 22,500 gift boxes have been sent to the troops from residents of Indian River County and beyond as a result of this community wide outreach.

Pick up a Holidays for Heroes “mailing kit” at one of the locations below. Each kit contains a list of recommended items to send to the troops; a flat-rate box with a sample customs form filled out; and an instruction sheet. The cost at the Post Office for mailing to an APO or FPO address is $18.45.
