Annual designer tag sale to benefit IRSC interior design program

The Student ASID Chapter of IRSC Interior Design Program will be holding its Annual Designer Tag Sale on Saturday Nov. 16, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the KSU center on Indian River State College main campus in Fort Pierce.

The Tag Sale features an eclectic collection of designers donated items including home interior furniture, textiles, and decorative accessories. Staffed by design students and professors, this annual event provides an opportunity for community buyers to discuss their design challenges and purchase unique high-end home related products.

“The Annual Designer Tag Sale produces awareness and support for the IRSC Interior Design Program; The Tag Sale, a co-curricular activity, raises money for student scholarships and creates a hands-on educational opportunity. It’s a win-win event for the students, professionals, and the resident in our five counties.” according to Dr. Ann Roccon, Associate Professor of Interior Design at IRSC.

The sale allows club members to meet with donating professionals and to demonstrate to the visiting community their developing knowledge of interior design business.

“We are fortunate to have such a supportive and generous business community,” said Dr. Roccon. “We encourage businesses to contact us if they have items they would like to donate or are interested in sponsoring the event.”
