Rosemarie Dolan Grandilli, 74, Sebastian

Rosemarie Dolan Grandilli, 74, of Sebastian, died on July 18, 2019, peacefully, surrounded by her husband and three children, at Pelican Landing memory care unit in Sebastian suffering many years with Parkinson’s Disease. She was born July 11, 1945, in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in Sebastian for 20 years after moving from Coral Springs, Fla.

She will always be remembered as very spiritual and full of life; always the life of the party.

Rosemarie is survived by her husband of 25 years, Val; her son, Michael Lee (Lisa); daughters, Stacy Lee, Mindy Hudnall (Ben); grandchildren, Alex, Veronica, Blake and Kamryn, all of Villa Rica, Ga.

She is also survived by stepchildren, Sam Grandilli (Megan), Emily Byrd (Greg) and Cristina Doherty (Joseph) and step-grandchildren, Sophia, Dominic, Matthew, Christopher, Nicoles, Jillian, J.P. and Carina.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in memory of Rosemarie be made to Alzheimer’s/Parkinson’s Association, 2300 5th Avenue Suite 150, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019, from Noon to 2 p.m. with a Prayer Service being held at 2 p.m. at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian. A graveside service will be held in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Carrollton, Ga., at a later date.

Walter John Lazar, 82, Vero Beach

Born on June 15, 1937, Walter John Lazar, an avid artist and foodie passed away on July 14, 2019 at 82 years of age.

He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and by the Romeos.

He is survived by his wife Andrea Lazar; his sons, Walter J. Lazar, Steve Lazar, Christopher Lazar; his sister, JoAnne Zupancic; brother, Bob Lazar; sister-in-law, Linda Lazar; and nephews, Eddie, Bob, Jason and Arron.

Shirley Marie Manor, 73, Vero Beach

Shirley Marie Manor, 73, of Vero Beach, passed away on July 19, 2019. She was born April 11, 1946 in Pekin, Ill.

Survivors include husband, George Manor; two daughters; two grandchildren; and a brother residing in Pekin, Ill.

Pauline Quigley, 91, Sebastian

Pauline Quigley, 91, of Sebastian, died July 10, 2019, peacefully at her home after a long and fruitful life. She was born June 26, 1928, in Limerick, Ireland.

In 1946 she met and married her husband of 51 years, Francis Quigley, who preceded her in death in April 1998.

Mrs. Quigley was a proud Army wife, accompanying her husband to posts around the country and Europe for over two decades and finally settled down in Miami in 1967.

Pauline lived in Sebastian for 27 years after moving from Miami following Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

She was an active member of the Vero Beach Irish Club and will always be remembered as very spirited and full of life.

She loved to drink her chardonnay, dance to any type of music and was the life of the party. She would recite poetry and stories she learned as a young woman growing up Ireland and sing a ditty or two.

Pauline is survived by her sons, Peter Quigley and Colin Quigley, of Sebastian, Brian Quigley, of Lorton, Va.; daughters-in-law, Anna Quigley and Margaret Quigley; and grandchildren, Heather Quigley, Brennan Quigley and Colleen Quigley, of Sebastian, and Christina and Kelli Quigley, of Lorton; and great-grandchildren Alexa, Avril, Ahnolah, Hazelle, and Lennon, of Sebastian. Services will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery where she will be interred with her late husband, LTC (Ret.) Francis G. Quigley.

Jacque Edward Sohm, 81, Vero Beach

Jacque Edward Sohm, 81, died in Vero Beach, of pancreatic cancer. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Edward William and Ardith Shepard Sohm.

Jacque attended Bedford, Ohio, schools where he was Salutatorian of his graduating class and attended Dartmouth College, class of 1960, on a full Navy scholarship.

After graduating, he served in the United States Marine Corps for three years and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. He subsequently enrolled in night school at New York University School of Business where he received his Masters Degree of Business Administration.

Jacque worked in the New York office of the First National Bank of Chicago in its municipal bond department for his entire career of 35 years. He retired as a Senior Vice President. During this time, he resided with his family in Scarsdale, N.Y.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lucy; two children, Jeffrey Shepard Sohm (wife, Marcella Wainwright) and Sarah Hampton Sohm, all of Manhattan; two grandchildren, Marcella Hampton Sohm, of Washington, D.C., Jeffrey Shepard Sohm, Jr., of Manhattan, and his sister, Ardith LaShell, of Jacksonville, Fla.

Jacque was an avid golfer. He was a member of Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., for 25 years and Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach for 24 years.
