Volunteers needed for Centennial Celebration finale Oct. 26

On this 100th anniversary day, Saturday, Oct. 26, let us revisit those memories that have endured for a century, bringing the community together in this place of history, the heartbeat of the community… Historic Downtown Vero Beach.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics; mingle with old friends and make new ones. Enjoy this glorious fall day, one community, making new memories together….while listening to music and enjoying the parade, informational booths, historic displays, food, friends and family while mingling in and around Pocahontas Park and more ….The Centennial Celebration Finale.

And if you can share part of your day helping as a volunteer, it would be greatly appreciated! The day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m., but before and following, and throughout the day, volunteers will be needed as early as 6 a.m. for set up and as late as 8 p.m. for clean-up.

Additionally, starting right after Labor Day, Sept. 3, we will need people to help disseminate Finale posters and flyers to stores throughout the community.

Enjoy this glorious fall day…one community, making new memories together!
