Camy the Arson dog, the St. Lucie County Fire District’s newest inspector, received her badge and was scheduled to be officially sworn in during Wednesday’s Fire Board meeting. The Fire District received Camy through a State Farm insurance grant. Camy was provided by Paul Gallagher at Maine Specialty Dogs.
Camy is partnered with Fire Investigator Joseph Cox and has graduated from a four-week canine accelerant detection training program.
