Deputies arrested Brandon Tykeem Love, of the 1000 block of Lincoln Street, Fellsmere, on charges of shooting or throwing a deadly missile and criminal mischief. Love was released Thursday from the Indian River County Jail on $4,000 bond.

Indian River County deputies were called to a disturbance about noon April 13 at a home where Love and his mother reside. Love’s mother told deputies Love “had an issue with her boyfriend,” who was inside the residence during the incident.

The woman said Love came home angry and the two had a dispute about his car, reports show. The two continued to argue outside into the driveway.

The woman’s boyfriend stayed in a bedroom because he did not want to get involved in the altercation, authorities said. Love then picked up a palm sized rock and threw it through the bedroom window, breaking the glass and leaving at least $500 in damages, reports show.

Love denied throwing the rock, deputies said.

Deputies arrested Love and took him to the county jail. Love has an arraignment at 8:45 a.m. June 7, court records show.
