INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Forecasters issued a lake wind advisory Saturday that will last until the evening.
The alert comes a day after thunderstorms swept throughout the county. There were no reports of local flooding.
National Weather Service in Melbourne issued the advisory early Saturday. The alert will last until 6 p.m., officials said.
Saturday was expected to have a high temperature near 78 degrees and a low temperature near 51 degrees, weather meteorologists said. The day will have 5 to 20 mph west winds, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Easter Sunday was expected to be sunny with clear skies. Sunday will have a high temperature near 76 degrees and a low temperature near 53 degrees.
