Food drive coming to North IRC Library Jan. 12

Florida Music Food Initiative, Inc. will present a benefit concert and food drive on Saturday, Jan. 12, 1-3 p.m., in the North Indian River County Library meeting room.

This concert, sponsored by the Friends of the North IRC Library, will include performances by Al Scortino, The Dunn Deal, Ellen Bukstel, Joe Virga, Bill & Eli Perras and Mary Beth & Chris Campbell.

Florida Music Food Initiative, Inc. (FMFI) was formed for the purpose of producing a collection of songs by Florida songwriters for CDs to generate funds in support of individuals and families experiencing hunger and homelessness here in Florida.

Admission is free and open to the public. Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted.

The Library is located at 1001 Sebastian Blvd. (CR 512), three miles west of U.S. 1.
