Richard De La Cruz, 62, Vero Beach

Richard “Butch” De La Cruz, 62, died Dec. 6, 2018, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 15, 2018, at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.

Terry Anne Harris, 57, Indian River County

Terry Anne Harris, 57 of Irondequoit, N.Y., long-time resident of Indian River County, received her angel wings Friday, Dec.7, 2018, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was employed throughout the community at various establishments as a Server/Bartender and made countless friends and long lasting connections along the way. She was a colorful, loving, kind, gentle and extraordinary soul who will be greatly loved and missed.

She was predeceased by her father, Robert Leroy Harris; mother, Marilyn Jo Ray; and sister, Robin Lea Roseman.

She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Engle Gens, Amber Engle Bishop and Hannah Engle Peabody; sister, Cindy Johnson; and brothers, Arthur Jasionkowski and Robert Harris; grandchildren Laylah Engle, Korbyn Engle, Brian Gens, Ellie Gens, Abigail Bishop and Baby Cora Gens; nieces, Rebecca Cuyler, Brittany Janssen and Aleta Johnson; nephews, Evan Johnson and Lee Harris; great-niece, Natalea Foxwell; and great-nephews, Jacob Foxwell, Bradyn Foxwell and Charles “Eli” Young.

Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian from 3-5 p.m. with a Celebration of Life reception to follow at the Barefoot Bay Community Center in Barefoot Bay.

 

Joseph R. Hall, Jr., 89, Sebastian

Joseph R. Hall, Jr., 89, passed away at his home in Sebastian on Dec. 9, 2018. Joseph was born on Feb. 14, 1929, in Mattoon, Ill., to the late Joseph and Elsie Hall.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery Hall; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Eloise Chadwick.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris B. Eutsler; and two daughters, Beverly Peek and Sheryl Patarino. Joe was a nationally recognized professional archer.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Family and friends will honor Joseph’s life by gathering for a visitation at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming St., Sebastian, on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 11 a.m. to Noon.

A Graveside Service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Winter Beach Cemetery, Winter Beach.
