Dad’s car keyed post road rage

The Port St. Lucie Police Department is searching for two suspects believed to have keyed a man’s Nissan following a road rage incident in St. Lucie West. The man and the suspects exchanged words on St. Lucie West Boulevard as he was driving his children to the AMC movie theater on May 15.

The dad told police about the verbal altercation between himself and two white males during which the males screamed obscenities at him. What sparked the confrontation was not publicly released. The dad continued driving to the movie theater and, as he and the kids walked into the theater, the suspects followed in their truck, yelling at him and the children, according to police.

The next morning, the man discovered two long scratches on the passenger side of his Nissan and reported the vandalism.

The suspects are described as white males with short-cropped hair. They were seen in a large gray pick-up truck with an extended cab and lifted 2 to 4 inches.

Those with information are encouraged to contact Port St. Lucie police Det. Corona by calling 772-344-4080 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 800-273-TIPS.
