Ray Lisk, 91, Vero Beach
Ray Lisk, 91, of Vero Beach, passed on Saturday, May 12, 2018, in his home. Ray was born to the late Margaret (nee Govern) and Raymond G. Lisk, on March 29, 1927, in Bayonne, N.J.
Ray married June Reich on Oct. 7, 1950, in New Jersey and resided in numerous locations including Dallas, Houston and Angel Fire, N.M. They moved permanently to Vero Beach in 1995.
Ray served in the US Navy as Pharmacist’s Mate Third Class beginning in May 1945. He was honorably discharged in July 1946.
Ray is survived by his two sisters, Audrey Lotz, of Clark, N.J., and Marie Truncali, of Richfield, N.J.
He is also survived by his five children, Susan (Paul) Lisk, of Oxford, England; Cynthia (Monte) Farquhar, of Redlands, Calif.; Raymond (Laure) J. Lisk, Jr., of Louisville, Colo.; Jody (Duane) Jacobson, of Gilbert, Ariz.; and Gregory Lisk, of Vero Beach.
Ray has also left behind 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 55 years, June.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church on Monday, May 21, at Noon, followed by Military Honors at the church.
A reception will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 923 19th Place, Vero Beach, immediately following the service.
A private family interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens will follow.

Charlotte A. O’Connor, 89, Sebastian
Charlotte A. O’Connor, 89, died peacefully May 13, 2018, at her residence in Sebastian.
She was born in Barrington, N.J., raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Seaford, Long Island, prior to moving to Sebastian in 1982 from South Florida.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, in Sebastian, where she was the church secretary for over 10 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Shannon, of Coppell, Texas; sons, Tim (Joanne) O’Connor, of Fort Bragg, Calif., Kevin (Kim) O’Connor, of Stuart, Fla., Rory O’Connor of Southend-on-Sea, United Kingdom, Dan (Diedra) O’Connor, of Sebastian, and Eugene O’Connor, of Merritt Island; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene O’Connor in 2002.
