FELLSMERE — The next meeting of the US Navy and Armed Guard will be May 19 at Marsh Landing Restaurant, 44 North Broadway, Fellsmere. Don Biscoe of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) will be the speaker.
Don joined the US Air Force Auxiliary CAP in April 2017. Some of his duties cover finance, recruiting and retention.
Don started out in the US Naval Air Reserves in 1972 as an Aviation Technician (AT2). He served two years active – VA 65 – A-6 Squadron home based at NAS Oceana and attached to the USS Independence, and six years reserve – NAS Washington and Air Crew on C-12.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early so breakfast orders can be placed before the kitchen gets busy.
This is the last meeting until the Fall when meetings will resume Sept. 15.
