VERO BEACH — Vero Vino Wine & Food Festival presents Have Pianos, Will Duel on Saturday, June 2, at 6 p.m. Some of the brightest music students from Indian River County High Schools will join Dr. Ray Adams and Jacob Craig for this dueling pianos concert.
The performance is hosted by the Unity Spiritual Center at 950 43rd Ave., in Vero Beach. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m., seating is limited. It is free to the public; a $10 donation is suggested.
Wine and refreshments will be available.
Before the concert, select students from area High Schools will attend an intensive jazz workshop led by Dr. Ray Adams, founder of the Vero Beach Choral Society, and Jacob Craig, Director of Music and Arts at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach.
The purpose of the workshop is to educate students on the fundamentals of formulating a professional quality ensemble and maximizing an aesthetic experience. That evening, the students will join their clinicians in a dueling pianos concert. Each participating student will receive a music stipend awarded by the Unity Spiritual Center.
