TREASURE COAST — Little Birthday Angels will be “Crushin’ It” at the Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery on Saturday, May 19, for a night of fun and fundraising. This evening of entertainment will include dinner, dancing, LIVE jazz music, an auctioneer, a photo booth, silent auctions and much more.
Little Birthday Angels is a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving the Treasure Coast of Florida. In August of 2014, Brian and Angel Pietsch along with their two sons founded the organization when it was brought to their attention that a local shelter did not have the funds to celebrate birthdays.
Since then, Little Birthday Angels has grown and now serves four shelters: the Hibiscus Children’s Center, the Samaritan Center, the Hope for Families Center and Safe Space, and two school districts: St. Lucie and Indian River.
Their mission is to provide a birthday celebration for every homeless child living on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
Now serving as Executive Director, Angel Pietsch lights up when speaking of her passion for this organization.
“Every child deserves to feel special on their birthday,” said Pietsch. “I am humbled by how this has grown and how many children we have made happy on their birthday.”
Each month, Pietsch obtains a list from the agencies they serve for whom will be having a birthday. Then, she gathers her group of Angels to ensure those children will have a very special day. Every child who has a birthday that month receives gifts from their “wish list” and at the birthday parties, there are games, balloons, goody bags, cupcakes and lots of smiles.
Join Little Birthday Angels on May 19, at the Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery in Fort Pierce to raise funds for this very special organization. Tickets are $75 and there are a variety of sponsorships available.
