Warrant sweep nets more than a dozen arrests in 2 days

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A sweep targeting individuals wanted for warrants – mostly involving narcotics – netted more than a dozen arrests in two days by the Sheriff’s VICE unit, authorities said.

During the sweep, deputies searched a home in the 800 block of 17th Street at Plantation Apartments. Deputies found meth in the residence and other items consistent with drug sales.

Deputies conducted surveillance on the complex and made the following arrests:

  • Timothy Sposato, 39, of Vero Beach, charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, resisting with violence, no bond
