Donna L. Hughes, 87, Vero Beach

Donna L. Hughes, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away April 25, 2018, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. She was born Jan. 17, 1931, in Carey, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Minnie Ruffing.

Survivors include sons, Jeffrey Snowberger and Thomas (Eileen) Snowberger, of Vero Beach, and daughter, Angela Snowberger Strahm, of Vanlue, Ohio; grandchildren, Erica Snowberger, Melanie Snowberger and Joel Strahm, from Vero Beach, and Jacob and Joshua Strahm, from Ohio.

There will be private services held at St. John of the Cross, Vero Beach.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA Hospice House.

 

Nicholas A. Rinaldi, 61, Vero Beach

Nicholas A. Rinaldi, 61, of Vero Beach, died peacefully Wednesday April 25, 2018, at the Indian River Medical Center.

Nicholas was born in Stamford, Ct., graduated from Trumbull High School in 1975 and lived in Florida for seven years coming from Nantucket.

He was an avid photographer, fisherman, and bird watcher.  An outdoor enthusiast, he had great love for the wide open spaces of the Wild West.

He cherished his grandparents and preparing and eating good old Italian food.

Survivors include his mother, Joan Sacco Rinaldi, of Vero Beach; wife of 16 years, Lindi Rinaldi; sister, Gina M. Rinaldi, of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; brothers, Anthony J. Rinaldi, of Stamford Ct., Michael P. Rinaldi, of Stuart, and Richard P. Rinaldi, of West Haven, Ct.;  seven nephews; one niece; one great-niece; and one great-nephew.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his father, Pasquale M. Rinaldi.

Memorial contributions may be made to the World Wildlife Fund, 1250 24th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20037 in memory of Nicholas A. Rinaldi.

Services were held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.

 

Ronald Robes, 74, Sebastian

Ronald Robes, 74, of Sebastian, passed away on April 26, 2018. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on June 14, 1943.

He retired from Air Force after 20 years of service. He was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed motorcycles, boating, fishing, and golfing.

Ronald was an active and devoted member of his church, Our Lady Of Guadalupe Mission.

He is survived by his children, Ronald (Cheri), Essie (Jeff), and Deborah (Jay); his grandchildren, Mathew, Joshua, Christina, Ashley, Devin, Audrey, Amanda, Jayson, and Nathaniel; and great-grandchildren, Erick, Addison, Liora, Logan, Alanna, Rachelle, and Piper.

Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Victor Robes; mother, Marion Allen; brother, Thomas Robes (wife, Jacqueline Bueno Robes).

In lieu of flowers, Ronald would ask you make a donation in his name to the Humane Society of Indian River County.

A memorial/mass service will be held at her church, Our Lady Of Guadalupe Mission, on Friday, May 4, 11 a.m.
