VERO BEACH — The Visiting Nurse Association’s (VNA) award-winning Caregiver Conference is returning to First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach on Thursday, April 12, from 9 a.m. – Noon. The free event will be held at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach.

The VNA Caregiver Conference will spotlight healthcare and human services available in our community. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions for the open Q&A session with a panel of local experts from: VNA Home Health, Private Care and Hospice, Veterans Council of Indian River County, Indian River Medical Center, Alzheimer & Parkinson Association of Indian River County, Perkins Indian River Pharmacy and the Law Office of Marie Conforti.
Doors will open at 9 a.m. and keynote speaker, Nancy Johnson, the Laughing Lady, will kick off the conference by speaking on the benefits of laughter, followed by a complimentary breakfast.
The VNA created the conference to bridge the gap between caregiver needs and local, affordable resources by partnering with other community organizations to bring awareness, education, resources and support to seniors and caregivers throughout Indian River County.
