The 59th annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department once again drew swarms of little ones clutching Easter baskets and pails to the grassy area and the beach in front of Mulligan’s Beach House, all eager to seek out sweet goodies placed into colorful plastic eggs.
The race, held at 10 a.m. last Saturday, was on as youngsters, some even sporting their own bunny ears, made a mad dash for the treats – the older ones secure in their quest and the baffled younger ones gently urged on by their parents.
