Wright has served on the Board of Trustees for four years and has 12 years of combined experience in education and staff and volunteer management. She has served as Program Director for Classical Conversations and as Early Childhood Ministry Director of a large church.

Her experience in K-12 education and curriculum review is an asset to the ongoing program development of The Buggy Bunch. She is passionate about the ministry’s outreach.

“Moms need one another,” she said. “Together, we will continue to positively influence families, our community and schools, and impact generations to come. I am thrilled for this opportunity to continue the important work and build upon its strong foundation. I look forward to cultivating relationships and building community partnerships.”

The Buggy Bunch has thrived since its inception which is a testament to its steadfast commitment to the needs of moms, children, and families in Indian River County. Wright brings fresh direction to the organization as it embarks on and enters its tenth year.

The Buggy Bunch is positioned to enhance existing programs and support services with the additional space in the new office building in downtown Vero Beach. She, along with the Board, will oversee the completion of the building renovations.

“Our desire is to become an integral partner with downtown businesses. There is no better time to do that than during the celebration of our tenth year of service,” said Wright.

Sartain will remain on the Board of Trustees as an Ex-Officio member.

“The Board expresses its deep gratitude for Kelly’s vision, passion, and devotion to the mission of the organization. Countless lives in our community have been impacted and changed for the better because of her willingness to follow her calling and lead a dedicated team,” said Board Chair Sue Bartl.
