TCCH awards $3,000 by the Rotary Club of Vero Beach

VERO BEACH — Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH) and the Rotary Club of Vero Beach Foundation share a long history of serving this community. TCCH was awarded a $3,000 donation by the Rotary Club of Vero Beach Foundation.

This donation will help offset the cost of mammograms for women in the Indian River County community. As you may know, there are free mammogram services available within our community; however, they do not cover the costs of further evaluation if something is found and the patient must return for additional testing services.

TCCH raises monies to help with these extra costs associated with early detection, screening, treatment and care while providing affordable primary care to the members of Indian River County.

“At TCCH we will not refuse any patient due to their inability to pay,” stated Vicki Soule, CEO of TCCH. “We rely heavily on local donations in order to provide comprehensive, affordable medical, dental and behavioral health services to all members of the community. So thank you to the Rotary Club of Vero Beach. Your donation will help save several women throughout our community.”

TCCH is Indian River’s first and only Federally Qualified Health Center and a non-profit, 501c(3) organization that accepts Medicare, Medicaid HMO’s, Health Kids and most private insurances. PHS Sec. 330 grant represents 19 percent of TCCH’s funding sources. Treasure Coast Community Health, Inc. complies with all applicable Federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability or sex.

TCCH has six Indian River County offices located in Fellsmere, Sebastian and Vero Beach. Sliding fee discounts may be available for patients with limited resources.
