SEBASTIAN — STOUTHOUSE is excited to present Peter Myers, current artist-in-residence in a benefit concert, Two Chords. The event will be held on Palm Sunday, March 25, from 5 – 8 p.m.
Myers composes his own songs and plays guitar. He received the Jersey Acoustic Music Award for Top Folk/Americana Act in 2013 and Album of the Year for his CD release “Jigsaw Monet.”
Daniel Boone, his friend who is also from New Jersey, will perform on bass and Geoffrey Myers, Peter’s brother, will complete the trio on mandolin.
George Ireland, a local thespian, will read a compilation of Peter’s poetry.
Leeward Roofing is the sponsor for Two Chords. Varietals and More and Walking Tree Brewery will provide the spirits and “Chef Huey” (Ret.) will showcase his culinary talents.
The location for Two Chords is the art filled Lagoon front home of sculptor and musician Geoffrey Myers, 13725 North Indian River Dr., Sebastian.
