Thomas C. Mentzinger, 73, Vero Beach
Thomas C. Mentzinger, 73, died March 7, 2018, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. He was born in Mineola, N.Y., lived in Vero Beach since 1997 and spent the summers in South Egremont, Mass.
Tom attended plumbing trade school after high school and served five years of apprenticeship prior to working for the family plumbing business. He eventually established his own plumbing business in Massachusetts.
He loved old cars and loved to go to antique car shows. Tom was also a private pilot.
Survivors include wife of 43 years, Pia Mentzinger, of Vero Beach; brothers, Robert E. (Judy) Mentzinger, of Waynesboro, Va., and James K. (Joan) Mentzinger, of South Egremont, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.

At Tom’s request there will be no services.
