Learn to avoid campaign calamities March 20

VERO BEACH – The Association of Fundraising Professionals Indian River Chapter will host a Food For Thought Presentation, “Avoiding Campaign Calamities,” on March 20, 8 – 9:30 a.m. at Northern Trust, 755 Beachland Blvd., Vero Beach.

Preparing for and completing a successful capital or endowment campaign requires great planning and execution. In addition, it is also vitally important that you avoid “campaign calamities” that can compromise a campaign’s success.

Join presenters Steve Higgins, CFRE, President of Carter, a Vero Beach-based team of global philanthropy specialists, and Lenora Ritchie, APR, CFRE, Vice President of Carter, as they reveal their campaign best practices and “five essentials for success.”

Steve and Lenora will also share stories of event highlights, lowlights, do’s and don’ts as you embark on a capital campaign. The presentation promises to be highly informative and interactive, encouraging audience participation.

A light breakfast will be served.
