VERO BEACH — Two vehicles collided at Indian River Boulevard and Barber Bridge in Vero Beach Monday morning, snarling traffic in all directions for a short while. No one was injured in the crash.

Vero Beach Police, Vero Beach Animal Control, and Indian River Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Animal Control was on scene to assist with traffic control, according to Vero Beach Police spokeswoman Ofc. Megan DeWitt.

The outside northbound lane on Indian River Boulevard was shut down just south of the bridge, forcing drivers to merge with the inside lane. Drivers attempting a southbound turn onto Indian River Boulevard from the Barber Bridge had to merge into one lane to get around the collision.

All lanes are now clear after the vehicles were towed.
