Rod Carr, Sebastian
Rod Carr, of Sebastian, passed away Dec. 15, 2017, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rod was born in Manhattan, raised in Westchester County, N.Y., and had been a resident of Sebastian for 12 years since moving her from Tujunga, Calif.
Rod retires in 2004 from Mitutoya Corporation, where he worked as a salesman of precision measuring instruments.
He is survived by his wife, Joy; three brothers, Matthew, Kenneth and Clifford Carr and their spouses; and his loving Corgi, Buddy.
There will be no services.

Edgar H. Clothier, 89, Sebastian
Edgar H. Clothier, 89, of Sebastian, son of George and Nellie Clothier, died Dec. 16, 2017, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Lansdowne, Pa., graduated from Smyrna High School in Smyrna, Del., where he played trombone in the marching band.
Ed resided in Dover, Del. until retiring in1990 and moved to Sebastian and Auburndale, Fla.
His passion was fishing in the Delaware Bay at his summer cottage in South Bowers, Del., with his buddies Bill Reynolds and Herb Robbins.
Ed was a US Army veteran first stationed in Colorado Springs, Colo., and later served in the Ski Patrol stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, during the Korean War.
He played reveille on his bugle every morning to get the troops going.
He was employed as a craftsman and civil engineer at Dover Air Force Base for 30 years. He was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose, Camden, Del., American Legion and VFW.
Ed was also an avid antique car collector.
Survivors include his daughter Rhonda Faye (Jay) Orick, of Ellendale, Del., son, Edgar Bruce (Karen) Clothier, of Sebastian; grandchildren, Stuart Potter, Purnell Potter, Chris Potter, Amanda Clothier, and Pamela Clothier; seven great-grandchildren; cousin, Richard (Marie) Clothier, of Sebastian;and former wife, Norma Jean Clothier, of Dover, Del.

Santos Rios, 71, Vero Beach
Santos Rios, 71, died Dec. 15, 2017, at Sebastian River Medical Center. He was born in Puerto Rico and lived in Vero Beach for 16 years, coming from Connecticut.
He attended El Milenio Church in Sebastian.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Luz Rios, of Vero Beach; son, Elvis Rios, of North Carolina; son, Santitos Rios, of Vero Beach; brothers, Cleofe Rios, of Edgewater; Curz Muniz, of Puerto Rico; Wilson Muniz, of New Jersey; Roberto Muniz, of New Jersey; sister, Rosa Muniz, of Puerto Rico; and grandchildren, Clarissa Rios, Rebecca Rios, Natasha Rios, Cierra Cortez, Santiana Rios, Christian Rios.
A Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, in Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian.
A funeral service will follow at 6 pm. Evelyn Batista of El Milenio Church will officiate.
Marion Turner, 67, Fellsmere
Marion Turner, 67, passed away Dec. 16, 2017, at Sebastian River Medical Center. He was born Feb. 17, 1950, in Richlands, N.C., to Matthew and Sybil Turner.
Marion was mayor of Fellsmere for two terms in the 1980s and served on the Fellsmere City Council.
He was an electrician, dairy farmer and carpenter by trade.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; three children, Dobie, Lucy and Matt; seven grandchildren, Cortney, Josh, Connor, Jesse, Caden, Slate and Jocelyn; one great-grandchild, Rilynn; and eight siblings.
In respect of Marion’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation at this time.
