Agnes Hagney, 93, Vero Beach

Agnes Hagney, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on Dec. 12, 2017, at her home.

She was born Jan. 20, 1924, in New York, N.Y.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Interment to follow at South Florida National Cemetery.

 

Joel H. Moore, 82, Sebastian

Joel H. Moore, 82, died Dec. 12, 2017, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian.

He was born June 6, 1935, in Casey County, Kentucky, and has lived in Sebastian for 14 years coming from Atlanta, Ga.
Joel received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Louisville.

He retired after 30 years with the Department of Justice, serving the Eastern US. After retirement Joel taught his expertise of crime scene investigation in Central American countries.

He was a member of Sebastian Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patricia Moore, of Sebastian; daughter, Carolyn Moore; and son, David Moore, both of Atlanta, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennie L. Moore; and parents, Dennie and Flora Moore.

A Memorial Service  will be held 11 a.m. on  Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Sebastian Church of Christ, 1045 Main St., Sebastian.

 

Dominic Charles Squillante, 87, Sebastian

Dominic Charles Squillante, 87, of Sebastian, passed away Dec. 8, 2017.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Dominic’s life by gathering for a Prayer Service at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 US 1, Sebastian, on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m.

Nelson R. Vose, 76, Vero Beach

Nelson R. Vose, 76, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully Dec. 12, 2017, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Born in Putnam, Conn., on Aug. 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Ralph and Adrienne (Gatineau) Vose.

He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Spielman) Vose for 55 years. He was the father of Mark E. and David G. Vose. Grandfather of Ryan Vose.
He was an aviation technician for Pratt-Whitney for 35 years retiring in 1999.
A private family committal service and burial will be held at Sebastian City Cemetery.
