Indian River State College partners each year with Treasure Coast dentist as a part of Project Christmas Smile. Project Christmas Smile is a free gift from Treasure Coast dentists and IRSC to members of the community.
In need a tooth extraction or filing to be able to wake up Christmas morning with a smile? Then visit the IRSC dental clinic Saturday, Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. to Noon in the Health Science Center on the 35th Street side of the Main Campus, 3209 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce.
Project Christmas Smile is limited to procedures that do not need a follow up visit, such as fillings or extractions.
Each year close to 30 dentists and dozens of hygienists and dental assistants volunteer nearly 150 hours of volunteer time, treat over 200 patients as part of Operation Christmas Smile.
