5-time convicted felon’s arrest nets guns, drugs

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – A 5-time convicted felon is again in jail, following a 3-month long investigation. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, with SWAT, arrested the 40-year-old on drug charges Friday.

The Special Investigations Unit concluded its investigation and enlisted the Sheriff’s SWAT team to serve a search warrant at 4355 27th Ave., Vero Beach.

Travese Woolfork, 40

Travese Woolfork, 40, was at his home where the warrant was served. Woolfork was arrested on outstanding warrants issued on the following charges:

 During the search of Woolfork’s home, detectives located the following items:

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the Hi-Point .380 had been reported stolen in a residential burglary in 2015 in Indian River County.

Additional charges related to the firearms and drugs located in the home will be forthcoming. Woolfork was booked into the county jail and is being held without bond.
