From fancy to fanciful, T-rex to Tinkerbelle, hot-diggity dogs to super dogs and fairy hounds – Vero’s four-legged friends strutted their stuff last Saturday afternoon at the 16th annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Pawrade at the Dogs for Life Off-Leash Dog Park.
Vero Beach 32963’s very own Bonzo was there to woof with his pooch pals and report back on the day’s very best costumes (see related Bonzo column).
The lighthearted event raises awareness of the specialized assistance dog training programs offered by Dogs for Life to military veterans and others with a variety of needs, including hearing, mobility and/or emotional impairments. www.dogsforlifevb.org
