Wine Women and Shoes celebrates fashion, benefits Humane Society

VERO BEACH – Women who appreciate the finer things in life – wine, fashion, and delectable eats – will find their Shangri-la at the third annual Wine Women and Shoes event benefiting the Humane Society of Vero Beach on Nov. 9 at SunJet Aviation.

This “night that will be legendary” welcomes guests to sip wines from some of the country’s best vintners, nibble on savory appetizers from top Treasure Coast chefs, and experience a dazzling fashion show revealing the latest trends from Vero Beach boutiques, all while mingling with the charming Shoe Guys whose upmost priority is to make sure all guests feel special.

The incredible evening held in the SunJet Aviation hanger will feature a custom art installation by Indian River Charter High School drama students and a remarkable ice sculpture by Vero Ice Sculptures.

Both live and silent auctions will provide attendees the chance to bid on travel packages, wine, and other high-end items; and a winner takes all raffle offering a chance to win the “key to the closet,” is sure to make someone’s night. The soiree also features a “wine wall” where partygoers have a chance to add a bottle of wine worth up to $100 to their personal wine collection.

Treasure Coast designers will be offering glamorous apparel and accessories during the evening’s marketplace, and the crux of the evening, a fast-paced fashion show presented by Seahorse Lane Boutique, Vine & Virtue, and designer Sara Campbell, will reveal the latest fall trends and is sure to inspire those on the quest for fashion greatness.

However, the evening goes past entertainment – all proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Vero Beach.

“The Wine Women & Shoes event provides a chance for Treasure Coast residents to experience an exciting evening with remarkable fashion, food and wine for a cause,” said Jennifer Downes, Assistant Director of Development at Humane Society Vero Beach. “Attendees are helping to support the Humane Society’s mission of providing loving care to each animal that comes to our door. This event is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and by purchasing a ticket attendees are showing they share our commitment to that mission.”

Tickets start at $100.
