Executive Roundtable members wear pink

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Three members of the Executive Roundtable of Indian River County are participating in the “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign supporting the American Cancer Society “Making Strides against Breast Cancer.”

In doing so, County Commissioner Peter O’Bryan, Schools Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell, and Vero Beach Police Chief David Curry are wearing pink during the month of October to help raise awareness and money for the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer initiatives.

They are three of the 17 prominent area men who are participating in this crusade.

The Executive Roundtable of Indian River County is a group of executive level community leaders from the school system, law enforcement, government and social service organizations, who come together to identify solutions and accomplish system changes that will protect and enhance the lives of Indian River County children, individuals, families and senior residents.

The group’s initial focus is Kids at Hope, a national concept that demonstrates that all children are capable of success, with no exceptions.
