INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Heavy showers continue to sweep through the county Tuesday.
Weather meteorologists said there’s a 60 percent chance of rain Tuesday evening with a possible thunderstorm. Rain amounts will be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch with 15 to 20 mph east northeast winds.

For Wednesday, there’s a 40 percent chance of rain with 20 mph winds. There’s a 60 to 70 percent chance of rain for Thursday with 15 to 25 mph east winds.
For Friday, there’s a 50 to 60 percent chance of rain with 10 to 15 mph winds.
A lake wind advisory has been issued until 8 p.m. Tuesday and a high surf advisory has been issued until 4 p.m. Thursday.
