Jane M. Gordon, 88, of Sebastian, passed away Sept. 28, 2017.
A Memorial Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m., Thursday Oct. 12, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 U.S. 1, Sebastian.
Robert Lee Howton, 72, Vero Beach
Robert Lee Howton, 72, died Sept. 28, 2017, in Vero Beach. He was the son of the late Robert Paul Howton and Pearlie Crowder. He was born March 3, 1945.
Robert was a mechanic/truck driver who lived and worked most of his life in Vero Beach and made many great friends in his lifetime.
He raised three loving daughters with Myrlee Royal Howton, who all still reside in Vero Beach: Angela Howton, Melody Howton and Dawn H. Braddy; four grandsons and two granddaughters; and four great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters who all reside in Vero Beach.
Robert was one of nine children and is survived by Odessa Loudermilk of Dixon, Mo., Johnny Thomas, of Narrows, Va., Dewey Thomas, of Seco, Ky., Maryann Jolly and Albert Thomas, both of Vero Beach, and their families.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Edna McNeese and Faye Arwine, from Oklahoma City, Okla., and Louise Washington, of Vero Beach; and granddaughter, Lily M. Swift, also from Vero Beach.
Per Roberts request there will only be a celebration of life on Saturday Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. at Riverside Park in Vero Beach.
Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
