ST. LUCIE/INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – A contractor has closed 43rd Avenue (also known as Johnston Road) north of Indrio Road in St. Lucie County, as of Monday, Sept. 25. The road will remain closed through Monday Oct. 23.
During the road closure, 43rd Avenue south of Oslo Road will be closed to through traffic, but open to local traffic only.
Access to property owners as well as emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Detour roads within Indian River County include Oslo Road and 27th Avenue.
The contractor is performing road work within the limits of St. Lucie County.
