St. Sebastian River Preserve, Sebastian Inlet state parks reopen after Irma

TALLAHASSEE – The St. Sebastian River Preserve and Sebastian Inlet state parks have reopened following Hurricane Irma. The Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service announced that 114 state parks have reopened while 53 remain closed.

All other Florida State Parks are open at this time.

Visitor safety is paramount in the decision to reopen Florida State Parks following times of severe weather. Additionally, Florida State Parks are in constant communication with state and local emergency operations centers and will reopen based on conditions and location.
