VERO BEACH — A brewery set to open in October is looking to fill 80 positions for its restaurant.
Developer Michael Rechter said American Icon Brewery is looking for bartenders, servers, managers, supervisors and more. The 12,000-square-foot building is 100 years old and was previously a diesel plant.
The first hiring event was held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the American Icon BrewLab at Majestic Plaza at 911 14th Lane in Vero Beach.
The second hiring event, which is by appointment only, will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 7 at the same location. Those interested should email their resume to info@americaniconbrewery.com.
A soft opening for the brewery, located at 1133 19th Place, Vero Beach, is scheduled for Oct. 17, Rechter said. A grand opening date has not yet been set.
