With a nod to the delightful Dr. Seuss, participants in last Saturday’s Relay for Life of the Indian River Beaches to benefit the American Cancer Society employed a wishful theme – One Wish, Two Wish, You Wish, I Wish for a Cure.
Shaded by the magnificent oak trees at Riverside Park, friends and families celebrated cancer survivors with a special survivors and caregivers lap, memorialized loved ones lost to the devastating disease with a luminaria ceremony, and raised funds throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
