A New Car Sharing Service For Denver

(NAPSI)—There’s a new way to get around Denver. Whether it’s for a move across campus at the University of Denver, a ride to a game at the Pepsi Center, or a day trip out of the city, sometimes, the vehicle you need isn’t the one you have.

Luckily, there’s a new car sharing service that provides an alternative to renting a car, taking public transportation or borrowing a vehicle from a friend.

What It Is

Called Maven, the on-demand car sharing service uses an exclusive smartphone app to seamlessly link drivers and their vehicles, so no keys are needed. Drivers use the app to search for and reserve vehicles, by model or location, and then unlock and start it from their smartphones. In most cases, you can also use the app to extend your reservation if you need more time with the car. When you’re done with your drive, simply drop your car off at the same station at which you picked it up. Then hit “end” in the app to complete your trip.

What You Can Get

Maven offers affordable on-demand car sharing on an hourly or daily basis. From Chevrolet Volts to Buick Regals to Cadillac Escalades, more than 60 vehicles are available to reserve starting at $8 per hour for round-trip use, including gas, insurance and roadside assistance. You can find leather seats, power everything, just about every bell and whistle you could want, maybe even some you’ve never seen before.

There are 30 stations throughout the city, including the University of Colorado Denver, North Capitol Hill, the Central Business District and Highland Park. You just open the app, select the car you want at the location of your choosing and hit reserve.

Building on two decades of vehicle connectivity and service provided by OnStar, each of these General Motors vehicles provides an ownershiplike experience with the convenience of car sharing. To bring your digital life into the vehicle, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sirius XM radio and 4G LTE wireless are all seamlessly included in every car.
