Richard M. Chimenti, 88, of Vero Beach passed away at the Indian River Medical Center on Oct. 22, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Susan of Vero Beach; son Richard Chimenti of Vero Beach; two step-sons, Terry Martin and Lewis Martin both of Texas; three brothers, Joe, Donald and Abby; two sisters, Mary and Rosie; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was born June 17, 1928, in New York City, N.Y., and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1975 coming from Long Island.
Chimenti was a self-employed electrician in Indian River County since 1975.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
