James Joseph Moran, Jr., 39, of Vero Beach passed away Oct. 17, 2016.
He is survived by his father James Joseph Moran of Vero Beach; siblings Charles Brady of Dallas, Texas, John (Wanda) Brady of Vero Beach, Donna (Gerald) Fladland of Sebastian and Brendan Moran of Vero Beach.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia J. Moran.
Moran was born in Boynton Beach, Fla., and moved to Vero Beach in 1977 from his place of birth.
He had attended St. Edwards School and Vero Beach High School before later taking classes at Indian River State College.
He had been working for Pinch-A-Penny in Vero Beach and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., Oct. 24, 2016, at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A prayer service celebrating his life will begin at 11 a.m., Oct. 25, 2016, at the funeral home with interment following at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
