Carolyn Sue Tallman, 68, of Vero Beach passed away in Marietta, Ga. On Sept. 30, 2016.
She is survived by husband James D. Tallman; daughter Kimberlie T. Peterson (Andrew); granddaughter Cassandra Sue Peterson; brother Robert Wainman (Linda); nieces Cynthia Brisson and Pamela Rauchle; and nephew Jeffrey Wainman.
She is preceded by parents Sherwood K., Grace M. Wainman, her brother Kenneth Wainman and nephews Michael and David Wainman.
She was born in Detroit, Mich., on April 27, 1948, to Sherwood K. and Grace M. Wainman
She grew up in Southfield, Mich., moved to Vero Beach in 1969. She was married on Sept. 16, 1972, in Vero Beach to James D. Tallman.
Tallman was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She worked as a bookkeeper for an auto parts company for 14 years, and as an Inventory Specialist for Piper Aircraft Corporation in Vero Beach for many years.
She and Jim traveled the world and enjoyed many adventures – traveling in their motor coach, sailing on cruise ships, parasailing and zip-lining. She loved meeting new people.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a date to be determined.
