VERO BEACH — Two Vero Police Officers have been arrested for off-duty intoxication charges.
Vero Beach Police Officer Nicholas Allen Knutson was arrested by another Vero Police Department officer and faces a charge of misdemeanor driving under the influence.
Officer Joshua Daniel Harris faces charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief and disorderly intoxication.
The officers were both arrested near the Vero Beach High School Citrus Bowl at 3:02 a.m. Monday.
Chief David Currey said both have been placed on paid administrative leave pending and Internal Affairs investigation.
