Jeanne Anne Fryer, 87, of Vero Beach passed away in her daughter’s home Oct. 2, 2016.
She is survived by her daughters Michelle Anne Fryer Dommel of Port St. Lucie and Shari Elizabeth Brown (Walter) of Vero Beach; grandchildren Lindsay Anne Ely, James Mitchell Ely and Rachel Anne Fryer Dommel; and niece Sue Anne Walker (James) as well as several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Nelson Fryer, in 2003.
Fryer was born in Lysander, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 2012 coming from Port St. Lucie after living in Quakertown, Pa. for more than 30 years.
She was a secretary and bookkeeper for several different companies in the Baldwinsville, N.Y. and Quakertown, Pa., areas.
She started and was the Director of the Christmas Bureau in Baldwinsville, N.Y., serving underprivileged children of the area. Fryer was also a volunteer tutor for reading, very active as a PTA officer and was the volunteer coordinator at Quakertown Hospital, Quakertown, Pa.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 in memory of Jeanne Fryer.
